Hybrid retrieval for codebase RAG — why vector search alone wasn't enough
KB is my RAG system for asking questions across multiple Git repos. Pure vector search kept failing on the queries developers actually ask, so I combined pgvector, Postgres full-text search and Reciprocal Rank Fusion.
